Dr. Steven Young

Dr. Steve Young is a native of St. Louis Missouri, who now considers Utah his home. He did medical school, internship, and residency at the University of Utah, and while there met his wife Myrna, who is from the Cache Valley. He has practiced ophthalmology in Logan since 1989. Dr. Young does routine eye exams, and manages such things as glaucoma, urgent eye care needs, screening exams for diabetic retinopathy, and more. He is interested in general medicine, and in helping patients with eye problems that intersect with other types of medical conditions. Dr. Young is very happy to be part of Cache Valley Eye Associates. 

 

Outside of medicine Dr. Young is a musician, and has arranged music for and performed with several internationally renowned musicians. His most recent work is entitled “Through Her Eyes,” which is an appeal to men to see the world through the eyes of a woman. Dr. Young has an interest in learning other languages. He speaks fluent Spanish and French, and is working on acquiring fluency in German.
